Values: Your North Star
There’s a difference between a goal and a value.
A goal is a destination.
A value is the direction.
Think of your values as a North Star.
You may never “arrive” at the star itself, but it guides your way.
Especially when the road gets unclear. Especially when you feel lost.
Here’s the practice:
Pause and ask:
What matters to me—even when no one’s watching?
What kind of person do I want to be—especially when things are hard?
Your answer might not be neat or final. That’s okay.
Values evolve with you.
But when life gets chaotic, anchoring to them helps you move forward—not fast, but meaningfully.
Even if the day is messy.
Even if nothing feels certain.
You can still take a step toward what matters.
Because the North Star doesn’t push you.
It doesn’t judge you.
It simply reminds you of who you are—and who you’re becoming.
