On Being Present
When things feel heavy or fast or too much, the breath is always there—quiet, steady, alive.
You don’t have to fix anything.
You don’t have to figure anything out.
Just return to this moment.
Here’s the practice:
Right now, take a breath in.
Feel it enter your body.
No need to deepen or control it—just notice.
Now breathe out.
Let go, just a little.
Let yourself settle into the space that’s already here.
Do it again.
Breath in. Breath out.
Feel the rise.
Feel the fall.
This is what the present feels like.
Not perfect.
Not always peaceful.
